Due to the snow, tonight's Parent Meeting/Competition Meeting has been postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday 1/13, at 7 PM.
Destiny will be keeping an eye on the weather and may make the decision to end practice early tonight. If so, each cheerleader will be individually contacting their parents.

Feel free to copy and share the vendor form with anyone you know that may be interested. As an added incentive for finding sponsors, the cheerleader that earns the most sponsorship money* will win a competition sweatshirt, the next highest earner will win a long sleeve t-shirt, and the 3rd highest wins a t-shirt. ?
*The cheerleader’s name must be on the sponsor form for it to be counted*

Junior high cheerleaders can wear their warm up with their Pink Out t shirts to school and to the game on Thursday. If your cheerleader did not purchase a shirt, please let Tim and/or Destiny know as some students may have purchased multiple shirts.
Tim asks that they all JH cheerleaders stay after school for practice so that they can prepare for the game since the other practices were canceled this week.

REMINDER: Our monthly Competition Meeting will be held tonight at 6 PM. This meeting will mainly consist of any updates on the competition and then a chance for the separate committees to get together and start planning for the comp. Hope to see you all there!

The sign up forms for our concession stand at the Varsity and Junior High Wrestling meets have been added to our team pages on warriorrunathletics.org and to our group Facebook page. We're asking Varsity parents to sign up to help work at the Junior High wrestling meets. Junior High parents would then sign up to work the Varsity meets. This would allow parents to watch their cheerleaders at the applicable meets. If you aren't planning on watching the meets, however, please feel free to sign up for any available slot.
If you are on our group Facebook page, you can sign up to help by posting the preferred meet(s) you’d like to work under the applicable sign up form Clarissa posted. Alternately, you can also text Clarissa the meet(s) you’d like to help with at 570-492-9442. Thanks!
P.S. – We’ve also added the Competition shirt order form to the team pages. This form is just for the total number and costs of each style/size you order . You’ll need to personally keep track of who ordered which when it comes time to pass out any shirts you ordered. Let us know if you have any questions!

The November and December 2015 practice/game Calendars have been added to the Team Files sections of our pages here on warriorrunathletics.org.
Per Destiny: These schedules are TENTATIVE. There is a good chance that some practices will be extended to 8:00pm to practice competition.
It seems as though the only crazy week is the week before Christmas. Varsity has 2 basketball games and 1 wrestling match that week. We also have the Milton competition that Saturday so I would like to practice the Friday before (12/18) at PA ELITE so that we are prepared for the spring floor at Milton on Saturday (this is not finalized with Brett yet). Since that is a crazy week--- I can talk to the team about splitting them up by stunt groups.

COMPETITION MEETING: The first Competition Meeting will be held tomorrow, 11/3, at 6 PM. Many important items will be covered at this meeting, so parent attendance is greatly needed and appreciated!
PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Varsity choreography will be held this Friday from 12:00pm-5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm. These practices are MANDATORY. If a cheerleader is absent, we have to take more time out of our practice schedule to re-teach and we do not have time for that this late in the game.
Since we will be practicing for 9 hours this weekend, and since Destiny has parent/teacher conferences on Thursday night-- practice on Thursday will be cancelled for VARSITY only. Tim will still be holding practice for Junior High.
Tim was finishing up the winter schedule last night and should have it ready to send out either later today or tomorrow.

Since the cheerleaders have pictures tomorrow, Tuesday 10/27/15, practice for both teams with be from 5-8 pm. Practice on Thursday for Varsity is 5-8 pm as well since we missed a practice last week.
MANDATORY CHOREOGRAPHY PRACTICES (VARSITY ONLY):
November 6th, 2015: 12pm-5pm (bring money and we can order pizza before the game)
November 7th, 2015: 8am-12pm
A sign-up sheet will be available for any cheerleader that needs a ride to Choreography practices.
PARENTS: If you are available to bring some extra Cheerleaders to these practices, please let Destiny know!

Pink Out shirts have arrived and can be picked up from Clarissa Paige at the rear parking lot of the high school tonight from 5:30 to 6 pm. If you can't make it to the school tonight, the shirts can be picked up from Kim Ranck at tomorrow evening's practices.

BREAKING NEWS from Coach Destiny: Practice for BOTH Varsity and JH teams will be cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/20/15. Practice is re-scheduled for Wednesday (10/21) from 5pm-7pm. It is important that everyone can make it Weds and Thurs for practice since this week is Pink Out.
Destiny and Tim have to travel to Pittsburgh today after work and are not sure what time they will be back tomorrow.

October 2015 Practice/Game Calendar has been added to the Team Files section of our pages.
Please note that there are two days where the Varsity squad will not be able to go home prior to the game. Coach Destiny stated that her biggest concern is that the squad is always hungry right after school and wanted to make it clear that EVERY parent should be sending food with their cheerleader on those days when they can't get home.

Cheer Gear Payments Due:
Warm ups have arrived and will be handed out tonight to all cheerleaders that have paid in full for their cheer gear. If you haven't paid all of the cheer gear money yet, please bring it to the school tonight so that your cheerleader can get their warm ups!

PINK OUT NEWS: The dates for our Pink Out games have officially been changed. JH Pink Out Night will be now October 22nd. Varsity Pink Out Night will be October 23rd.
Because of these changes, Pink Out shirt orders and money will now be due by Monday, October 5th. This gives us another two weeks to sell!

T-shirts will be here on September 29th for the October 1st JH game. The Varsity Pink Out date is still TBD (tentatively October 9th). Any questions, please call/text Clarissa Paige at 570-492-9442.
The cheerleader who sells the most on JH will receive a Sweatshirt for free and the cheerleader who sells the most on Varsity will receive a Sweatshirt for free.

Cheer Gear –
As everyone should be aware, all of the cheer gear has now been ordered. The total price per cheerleader for liners, briefs, and warmups was $168. The WRCPA Booster Club paid $78 of that total for each cheerleader, leaving a balance of $90 that each parent/cheerleader is responsible to pay. To make things a little easier for our families, the balance may be paid in two separate payments of $45. All payments should be made to the Cheer coaches.
The first $45 payment will be due on Thursday, September 10th. The second $45 payment will be due on Thursday, September 24th. Per the coaches, warmups will not be given to a cheerleader until the full $90 has been paid. If anyone has any questions, please contact Coach Destiny or Coach Tim.
Fundraisers –
Pre-wrap order forms and all money for orders is due by the end of the next Tuesday’s Parent Meeting.
Our next fundraiser, Pink Out shirts, will begin next week. Two shirt designs have been presented to the coaches, cheerleaders will be voting on their favorite design this evening, and we’ll hopefully have more info at Tuesday’s meeting.
September schedule –
The September practice/game schedule is now available. It has been added to the Team Files section of our Cheerleading page, will be shared on our Facebook group page, and attached to a group email. If anyone knows of any parent that is not receiving our communications from at least one of these sources, please let Dan Walz know at dwalz@bloomu.edu

Our first Warrior Run Cheer Parent Fundraiser of the season starts today! We are selling pre wrap from now until September 8th, when all order forms and money will due at our monthly Cheer Parent meeting.
Checks, money orders, and cash will be accepted but checks/money orders are preferred. Checks/money orders should be made out to WRCPA. Delivery date for the pre wrap orders will be announced later.

Sorry everyone for the short notice, but due to Freshman Orientation tonight at 7 pm, camp will conclude at 7 pm this evening. It will resume at 8:00 am on August 12th. Please remember lunch will be provided by the booster club. Please pass the word about camp ending at 7 pm this evening with everyone you know..thanks again!! First of all thank you so much for attending the first cheer boosters meeting. We are so excited to start the season. Saying that we need to order shoes ASAP. We are asking each parent to order their child's shoes individually. This way you can order the size your child wants, and payment will be all taken care of. We are asking you to make the purchase as soon as possible with the last day to order being August 14th. After you have placed your order please send a receipt with your child to hand in to the coach by August 18th so they know the shoes are ordered. We wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS again to the 2015-2016 Warrior Run Cheerleaders. We are very excited to begin the season. We know we have A LOT to go over and discuss.
With all of the excitement going on yesterday, we understand that the uniform fitting was unorganized and we apologize for that. We need each cheerleader to bring their uniform with them to the first practice next week so that we can see how each cheerleader fits in their uniform. Also, after speaking with Nate (Athletic Director), we will be getting new uniforms next year so we are going to try to deal with what we have. With that being said, some cheerleaders may get a uniform that is a little bigger and they are allowed to get it taken in by a seamstress.
PARENTS: you should hear from the booster club board soon about an upcoming Parent Meeting. At the parent meeting, we will be discussing: Camp, Pictures, Shoes, Bows, Practice, Fundraising, Body Suits, Spanx, etc.
PARENTS & CHEERLEADERS:
Our first practice (VARSITY TEAM & JUNIOR HIGH TEAM) will be held on
TUESDAY AUGUST 4th from 5-7 at the HS GYM.
A practice schedule will be provided at that time.
CHEERLEADERS: BRING YOUR UNIFORMS ON TUESDAY!!!!
