The girls jr. high basketball game traveled to Milton for a 7th & 8th grade tournament on Saturday, November 30, 2013. The 7th grade lost the opener against Shikellamy by a score of 10 -23. Taylor Coup scored 8 and Lydia Boyer 2. The 7th grade defeated Milton in the consolation 20 – 10. Avery Bieber 5 pts, Alayna Hemphill & Taylor Coup each had 4 pts., Haydn Wilkins 3 pts, Lydia Boyer & Amber Pentycofe 2 pts each.
The 8th grade team defeated Shikellamy in the opener by a score of 20-15. Megan Zimmer 5 pts, Emma Burrows, Gina Beyer & Megan Herriman 4 pts each, Jane James 2 pts, & Madie Majcher had 1 point. The 8th grade team lost to Loyalsock in the championship 25-28. Jane James 9 pts, Megan Zimmerman 8 ptst, Emma Burrows 5 pts, Madie Majcher, Gina Beyer & Megan Herriman had 1 point each.
