December 10, 2014 Meeting Minutes Warrior Run Cheerleading Parents Association Meeting Minutes Meeting led by Sonya Berger, President of WRCPA Present: Sonya Berger, President Kim Ranck, Vice President Terry Moore, Treasurer Terri Mincemoyer, Secretary Donna H., Barb I., Julie M., Sonya P. Treasurers' Report --Ending balance as of 12/10/14 is $2792.53 --- Motion to approve, Brenda Blakeney. 2nd, Sonya Parker Approval of Minutes -- Motion to approve last months minutes, Julie Mong, 2nd. Sonya Parker Old Business 1. Concession sign-ups -- Asking that one officer/parent to sign up per game -- First game is scheduled for 12/18. -- Sonya and Terry will set up. Brenda Blakeney is scheduled to help. 2. Competition -- The fee to use the school for the competition has been waived. -- Cafeteria will be available for meetings every Wednesday until competition. -- Michaela sent letters out and has had some replies -- Questions about what supplies are needed for Cheer Grams. -- Sonya B. Has secured nine mats for use at competition -- The mats will be coming from Williamsport Twisters, who will be showcasing at competition. They would like to have the admittance fee waived for their teams parents/families. May limit 4 tickets per girl. Vote needed and it will be discussed with Twisters coach. New Business 1. Concessions -- Totes are needed for snack closet -- Each parent will be asked to donate $10.00 and maybe a case of water for concessions. -- Also looking for volunteers to take and reheat Taco Meat. 2. Bank -- Terry Moore made a suggestion to have a savings account set up. - will be used to build up a savings so that money can be kept separate - need motion/vote to approve a second account 3. Treasurer -- A motion was made by Terry Moore to add Brenda Blakeney as Treasurer for 2015/16. 2nd, Donna Hoover 4. Community Service Project -- Cheerleaders to meet on 12/16 at 5:00 in the cafeteria to sign and decorate Christmas cards to deliver to Warrior Run Manor. -- Bring craft and decorating supplies -- Will need help with transportation to the Manor Meeting adjourned with a motion from Brenda B. 2nd, Terry M.
